Bob & Sarah Nelle McEachern started their photography business in 1942. From the trunk of his car, Bob traveled, shooting school photos throughout East Tennessee and Eastern Kentucky. In 1947 they made a permanent home and office in Loudon and started a family. The business continued to expand and by 1970, they worked both states entirely, opening their current location on Mulberry Street. Ten years later, at the time of Bob’s death, they were the largest independent school photography studio in the Southeastern United States.
Most recently, the business handled photography for school yearbooks, graduations, athletics and more for schools from West Greene to McNairy County, and many in between. With the business closing, it truly is the end of an era.

BUYER’S PREMIUM: A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to the high bid. Example: For each $1,000 bid, a 15% buyer’s premium of $150 will be added to arrive at the total purchase price of $1,150.
PAYMENT INFORMATION: All invoices to be paid within 24 hours. Wire Transfer, Company or Personal Check when accompanied by a Bank Letter of Guaranty, Cash or Cashier’s Check. Credit Card payments up to $2,500 and a 3% surcharge will apply. Furrow Auction Company reserves the right to require wire transfer or cashier’s check for any purchase.
RIGGING & REMOVAL INFO: Buyer is responsible for arranging removal, shipping, and transportation of all purchased items.
Removal will be June 26-27 between 9am-4pm. Come prepared – WITH THE APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT AND/OR PERSONNEL – to load your equipment.
